Dialogue Dinner

A series of special meetings regularly organized by the Bahrain Foundation for Dialogue, consisting of two dialogue sessions separated by a dinner that brings participants together in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

Participation in these meetings is through special invitations extended to individuals who haven’t typically had the opportunity to engage in dialogue together, providing a valuable opportunity to exchange viewpoints and listen to diverse ideas and perspectives on social, cultural, economic, and other issues relevant to Bahraini society.

The most distinctive feature of these meetings is that they are held completely away from media coverage and press attention, ensuring an atmosphere of freedom and comfort that allows participants to express their opinions openly and transparently, while promoting mutual understanding and building bridges of communication and trust between different segments of society.

These meetings are held at the home of Dr. Ghazi bin Abdulrahman Algosaib, and the dialogue is facilitated by Mr. Suhail bin Ghazi Algosaib.

Tayseer Program

A developmental program offered by the Bahrain Foundation for Dialogue that provides training courses and qualification programs on the principles and methods of designing and facilitating community dialogue. This program focuses on human development and equips participants with theoretical and practical concepts related to dialogue, its importance, and design phases, while highlighting the concept of dialogue facilitation and the qualities and skills of successful facilitators. “Tayseer” aims to build the capacities of social activists and interested individuals to support and stimulate community dialogue, enabling them to lead community dialogues that generate effective local initiatives.

The program begins with intensive training on designing and facilitating community dialogue, after which participants move on to preparing detailed proposals for live community dialogue initiatives. These initiatives are presented to a specialized evaluation committee to select the best projects for support and adoption. The program concludes by honoring distinguished participants in implementing initiatives and granting them the title of Dialogue Ambassadors.

This project was launched in 2016 in collaboration with Search for Common Ground organization. The Foundation then developed the project independently in its second version in 2019, followed by the third version in 2023, with the fourth version scheduled for launch in 2024.

The project has achieved great success and attracted significant interest, with hundreds of activists and interested individuals participating.
